Design Practice 2: Analogue Exhibition

  • Analogue is an exhibition which celebrates medium format film photography - a collection of  Black and White images taken with vintage and toy cameras by Melissa Ramirez, Dax Pointon and Stuart Frossell.

Analogue consists of some of the artists favorite shots which they have taken from around the world.   A limited run of photographic prints (450mm x 450mm)are available for sale. The prints are enlarged by Paul Jacobs using traditional dark room techniques. This website shows a few examples of each artists work. The entire exhibition consists of 30 images.

Analogue intends to show people the amazing world of film photography with images that defy digital commercial photography.  It aims to show that film is still a relevant style of photography and to help keep film photography and analogue darkroom techniques alive as a form of collectible art.

This is an exhibition of analog photography celebrating film and the technology. This is one of the ways I could pursue this
brief and create a range from the branding of the exhibit to publication and promotion as my good is the same as the purpose for this exhibition.
