We had to write down our topics of interest down on individual sections of paper in around 10 words. Once we had done that we had to place them on the table in a way that made sense. The trends i linked with mine were advertising/manipulation, then there was style of design, and then simplicity with Cath Kidston in a section by itself. We then circled around the tables and looked at everyone else's.
We labelled them as either practice or theory or both
With the ones left we discussed in partners what we could do with them as a publication
Again we discarded some leaving just two
Then as fours we spoke about our chosen two and talked about which we favoured most, leaving just one.
This process really helped and opened this brief up for me. I wasn't sure what to do or what i could do with it but i rather like my chosen one left as i love paper craft and theres so much experimental work and options to go with for this. However this is majority practice and would need to involve some theory if i was to choose this one.
