Responsive: Design Process 2 - Visual Inspiration

Looked for some visual inspiration for designing the bottle and packaging.

It took the shape from the middle of the gem cuts that were formed by diamonds and triangles to get abstract but gem like shapes.

I liked how this bottle has the layers of shape building up to the spray mechanism
We looked at 1 million by Paco Rabbane as when I drew out a rectangle shape with slanted edges and it reminded of it. It turned out to have curved edges so wouldn't corrupt with that brand but we spotted on the Lady Million that it had the shape on top which was formed from a tessalated gem like shape. This supported our idea further for the shape.
When looking for different spray mechanisms this shape was like one of the gem cut shapes I had picked out. Showed that it could work quite well in a 3D bottle shape.

France - Louvre

This famous museum in Paris uses the tessellated shape to form a pyramid. Made from glass it is a spectacle which features gem like attributes.
