I actually found this lecture very interesting as it kind of focused alot on what my sociology a-level was about but developed it more on the scale of how it affected art and design as well as society. It was great to hear a different side to what i've already learnt about in Modernism, a different view point is always good and insiteful. I also enjoyed learning little random facts from the past such as the eiffel towers purpose was to show off how modern and ahead Paris was compared to anyone else, this shown through its materials, structure and height.
