Design Practice 2: The Impossible - Projects

Another thing that was interesting was that they do different projects which users of Polaroid can take part in. They set different briefs or competitions for people to submit there response and photo into. These are all then displayed on there website. I thought the responses were really creative and showed how passionate and decided the audience was and there was still an audience! A project like this could be something I create for the brief where people participate.

PROJECTS
101 WAYS TO DO SOMETHING IMPOSSIBLE
THE PROJECT
THE BOOK
An Impossible photo is more than a photo. In winter 2011/12 we invited you to submit your ideas on what one can only and especially do with Impossible photos. Impossible film delivers real analog originals that develop in the palm of your hand. Distinctive, one-of-a-kind images that are real and intense, that you can touch, smell, caress and that inspire your creativity beyond limits.

We were overwhelmed by more than 300 brilliant, passionate, funny, crazy and beautiful ideas on what to do with and how to approach Impossible photos - thank you so much for creating and inspiring this project!

The selection presented in the Impossible 101 Ways book aims to show a wide range of ideas what to do with an Impossible photo once ejected by your Polaroid camera. From classics like image manipulation or double exposure to innovative ideas for gourmets and fashionistas, from private to public, from the practical to the spiritual the presented projects are meant to inspire and set your own creativity on fire. Detailed instructions for creating your own projects can be found in the back of the book.
